Daniel Hou
Alto Saxophone Mentor, Huron
Daniel Hou is a saxophonist and a junior at Huron High School. He was introduced to the instruments when all his friends wanted to play the saxophone in fifth grade band. He continues to play the saxophone because of the relaxation that music has to offer. He is apart of Huron’s Symphony Band and Marching Band while also participating in Michigan Youth Symphonic Band. By teaching lessons through PPL, he hopes to attain a higher level of musicianship and also share his passion for music with others.
Outside of music, Daniel is a soccer player for Huron’s Junior Varsity team and the captain for the school’s chess team. Unknown to most people, he is also an amateur gamer and recently started playing Fortnite. Although he is not completely sure what he wants to pursue, he knows that something in the STEM area is what he wants to continue to learn. |
