Dawson Hartman

French Horn Mentor, Huron
Picture
Dawson Hartman is a 12th grade French Horn player at Huron High School. He started playing the French Horn in fifth grade because it looked cool and had the word french in it. He continued to play through his time at clague and now at Huron because he loves making beautiful music and meeting other awesome musicians. He is in the Huron symphony band and orchestra, the detroit youth symphony orchestra, and has been in the allstate music ensembles since the 7th grade. His best musical experience was traveling to Spain with the Huron symphony band his freshman year and all the great times along with that. He brings lots of french horn playing experience in solo and orchestra/ band music and has some previous experience with giving lessons. He is a part of PPL to further people's ability with music and to help out fellow music makers.

Outside of music Dawson enjoys playing rec sports with friends and lacrosse on the Huron team. He likes spending time with friends and overall relaxing. In the future he hopes to double major in music performance and engineering, although he is not 100% about that path.
