Joanna Sheng
Violin Mentor, Huron
Joanna is a violinist and a senior at Huron High School. After her sister made her hold the violin with her shoulder and chin without dropping the violin for a around five minutes, she was instantly intrigued. She continues to play today to express how stressed she is everyday (it proves to be a successful stress reliever). She will always think that spending a full week at Interlochen with her friends and playing violin will serve to be an amazing memory and a wonderful opportunity that was given to her. Through PPL, she looks forward to teaching people how fantastic it is to express emotions through the four strings on the violin.
Besides PPL, Joanna loves to sleep and takes naps after school everyday. She finds that taking a nap is almost equivalent to playing the violin--when she wakes up, she is stress-free...but only for a moment. She enjoys watching all of the chemical reaction that her Chemistry teacher demonstrates during class, and finds those reactions fascinating. |
