Clarinet Mentor, Huron
Jocelyn is a clarinet player and a junior at Huron High School. She began playing clarinet in the fifth grade after not being able to make a sound on any other instrument. Over the years, band has helped foster meaningful friendships and given her many valuable experiences. She is currently a member of Huron’s symphony band. Through being a part of PPL, Jocelyn hopes to share her passion of music with other students and to help foster a love of music in other students.
In her free time, Jocelyn likes listening to BTS and watching Lilo & Stitch over and over again. She also likes to play with her cat even though all he ever does is sleep. Although she is not completely sure about what she wants to pursue in the future, she most likely wants to do something STEM or medicine related.
