Rhea Cong​

Operating Officer, Huron

Rhea Cong is a senior at Huron High School and plays the best instrument — the cello! She vividly remembers choosing the cello after hearing a recording of Yoyo Ma playing with Bobby McFerrin in the fourth grade, and hasn't looked back since. She loves being a part of the Huron Orchestra, and has a special place in her heart for the cellos (the most attractive and most improved section). Over the last few years, she has thoroughly enjoyed extending this orchestra community throughout the middle schools and seeing her students grow as musicians.

 In her free time, Rhea can be found reading Yelp reviews, getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, and hopefully playing with cats. She is really looking forward to senior year and getting to know more fellow musicians! As for the future, she is definitely still indecisive but curious about what life has in store for her.
