Sean Tant

Cello Mentor & Outreach Director,  Huron
Picture
Sean Tant is a cellist in his Junior year at Huron High School. He began his journey with stringed instruments in the fifth grade where he was very excited to play the violin. In the end of his sixth grade year, he began to admire the deep, rich sound of the cello and wanted to explore it more. Next thing he knew, he had moved to the cello section of Scarlett Middle School 7th grade orchestra. Sean’s goal as a peer mentor is to share his love for music with students who otherwise do not have access to personal instruction.

Outside of PPL, Sean enjoys playing video games with friend, watching movies, and pracrastinating on homework. He even enjoys (attempting at) composing his own music. After high school, Sean hopes to go to college for a degree in cello performance and is considering doubling in another field.
