Vallan Roan
Curriculum Director
Vallan is a violinist and senior at Huron High School. She started playing the violin when she attended her brother’s and sister’s violin lessons. The Huron Orchestra has been an important part of her life for over two years, and many memories have been made in the orchestra community, including Orchestra Nights, the trip to the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, and the annual week at Interlochen. In the next year and a half, Vallan hopes to continue cherishing moments with her large family. Vallan is excited to be a part of PPL to give back to the Ann Arbor community that has given her many privileges and opportunities.
Outside of school, Vallan’s hobbies include exploring Costco, petting dogs, acquiring free pens, hopping up and down (like a kangaroo), and singing “A Whole New World” from Aladdin. Vallan is unsure of where she wants to go for college and what she will study. She hopes to keep an open mind and make the best of every situation. |
