Violin Mentor, Pioneer
Vicky is a senior violinist at Pioneer. She has played the violin since she was in second grade because her parents said so. At first, she hated violin with a passion and a day wouldn't go by when she wouldn't have to wipe tears off her violin. That changed when she joined the Slauson orchestra in seventh grade. Nowadays, she genuinely enjoys playing the violin because her siblings can't bother her when she's practicing. Vicky joined PPL because she wants to spread her love for music to as many people as possible
Outside of orchestra, Vicky also enjoys figure skating and hiking. You can often find her at the Cube working on her doubles or up north finishing a five-mile hike. Vicky also enjoys volunteering and helping others as part of the Pioneer Interact Club and Link Crew. She would like to go into forensic pathology so she can help solve crimes and make the world a safer place.
