Young-Bin Kim
Oboe Mentor, Huron
Young-Bin is a senior at Huron High School. He started playing the oboe in 5th grade after he realized there was way too much competition on the clarinet. Through music, Young-Bin has made many great memories including attending the annual Huron band camp and going to Interlochen Arts Camp for 3 weeks. Young-Bin has also been a part of the Michigan Youth Symphony Orchestra. Through PPL, he hopes to spread the joy of playing the best instrument in orchestra.
Outside of music, Young-Bin plays on the Varsity Ice hockey and Lacrosse teams. He also participates in various extracurriculars including Science Olympiad, Business Professionals of America, and Ocean bowl. For the future, he plans on attending college and majoring in something business-related. |
